Shirley Cook was a classmate and friend throughout our years in the Overton public school. She was always sweet and kind, and I was very fond of her. I talked with her a time or two in later years when I returned to Overton for a reunion. I’m happy to read that she had an active and happy life and family. Sincere condolences to the family.
