The following is a memorial I wrote to my mom. God allowed me to finish writing this and reading it to her before she went to be with her Savior and family: VALUES OF A SAINT 08-15-2006 Mom, your are such a good woman, You are a great mom, You taught me the values I have today, But most of all, you taught me that Jesus Christ is all that matters ---- Yesterday, tomorrow and Oh yes, today. You taught me the value of how to love, You always loved my dad and sisters, your grandchildren and me; You taught me if I couldn't show charity I would not be happy in my life, But most of all, you taught me the the Lord Thy God loved me most of all. You taught me the values of marriage, You showed me the Lord Jesus Christ's values of these sacred vows, You taught me what committment meant, But most of all, your testamony showed how much you believed in God's words concerning these values. All these values are very well in living for Christ, But most of all, you taught me the value of the Cross; You showed small children the miracles God performs through your teachings, And "Yes," I have learned and accepted the value of the Cross from the Lord Thy God through your teachings and example, My Mom. .................... Baby Girl.

Maw Maw we love you so much. You will be greatly missed but we know you are in Heaven with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. You are also with pawpaw, your son and grandchildren, brother and sisters. I can only imagine the reunion when you arrived. I have so many precious memories of you, mawmaw, but I wouldn't trade the last few days of your life and being there with you and seeing the beautiful smile and glow on your face. What a blessing to know that we will be reunited with you and pawpaw one sweet day.
