Shirlyn, I'm sorry to hear that you mother has left us. But we know she is home, healthy again, free, and happy. I am praying for you as you all go this this difficult time. 'I go to prepare a place for you and if I go, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also.' John 14:2b-3

I am so sorry to learn of your loss, Shirlyn and Don ! I know that she will be missed by all her family! You were lucky, you know; yall had a young-at-heart "fun" Mother. I remember well how much fun we had as children when we had the family Bar-B-Ques at yalls house on some weekends..... and it is still some of the best Bar-B-Que I ever ate! Did Whitesides have Bar-B-Que down to a fine art or WHAT ?! Another thing about her that still touches my heart when I think of her sweetness, kindness and deep love she had for her brother Pete when he would come to visit. she had to be the light of his life ! I enjoyed Aunt Ruby a whole lot too, when we both worked at Creme Lure ! She made work lots more fun ! We laughed so much and talked all most all the time~ sure made the day pass faster too. She was dearly loved by every employee there too; would have easily won a popularity contest. I am thankful for the good memories of her and happy that I got to know her. You must have a whole treasure-rove of wonderful memories. Remember it is said that ~ When someone you love becomes a memory~ Memory becomes a treasure. God Bless and bring comfort to ALL your hearts ! Genie
