C.A. was a jewel of a person throughout his life! We all have fond memories of him at the variety store - giving us candy if we were good while in the store and always wanting to know what was going on in our lives. Still remembered peoples ages and birthdays up until the end of his life. He was a great asset to the town of Troup! He and Willie D. were loved by the Obar family! Prayers are with the family during this time and in the days, weeks to come. He will be missed!

Oh, C.A....we will miss you! You were such an important legend in all of our lives. You remembered us all with birthday and anniversary wishes always. Glad you made that 100 mark! You and your family...your Father, your brother Willie and your wonderful wife Heloise have all made Troup the great place that we grew up in. Our condolences to the family and our tributes to a memorable life.

What a blessing to know CA .... he always called me by my home town in Missouri (Dudley) one time he called a fella in Bell City Mo who wrote a book called I Stole to Live!! He put me on the phone with this guy hoping we knew each other haha. I did not know the guy. Well I went to Puxico school which is close to Bell City Missouri ... He was an amazing man, such a big place in my heart is so full from loving CA . Prayers for the family sure miss y’all coming to The Hamptons Retirement Community
