Weak-side tackle is actually a misnomer in the single-wing offense run at Leverett's Chapel in Glen and my days on the gridiron. Glen was a stalwart blocker, and on the weak-side quick-pitch to the tailback, Glen pulled and more often than not, pancaked any opposing linebacker tracking the play, allowing many spectacular gains for the Lions. Now the tailback, Jimmy Ward, and you are gone in the same year. Perhaps you and he will meet soon and re-live those days and that particular play. I salute your service to our country. Farewell Old Friend, teammate, and class mate. Rest In Peace.
