Bill was a wonderful Father in-law and grandfather to my girls. I know Bill is in heaven with Kathy and they are praising God together.

Willie,
I will miss a loyal and true friend for over 65 years, we started 1st grade together and went on to play football starting in the 6th grade, we had some great teams.
You were the best high school player I have ever seen, what an athlete you were.
I have so many fond memories of the last 10 years of the time we spent during hunting seasons in Tennessee.
God bless and I will miss you.
Lonnie

William (Willie) James Searcy
Honor, Valor, Strength, Soft Spoken, Humorous, Kind, All Around Great Guy and Friend:
Those are just a few of the wonderful characteristics that come to mind when I think of Willie.
Bless you, my friend, you fought a very long, hard fight!
I am so thankful to have had the privilege of growing up with you, and, among those many other characteristics, #22, in my opinion, you will remain one of the Carlisle Indians’ greatest football heroes!
Prior to the night you went home, dear Willie, I was praying that God would ease your struggle and give you everlasting peace. Thankfully, He answered those prayers, and, no doubt, you have now been greeted with what we all long to hear: “Well done, my good and faithful servant!”
Though you will be missed by many, I am sure all join me in thankfulness that you are now set free of all that pain!
As Lonnie Williams said, the great memories we made growing up together will last forever!
Due to an accident, I am so sorry that I cannot be at your service to pay my respects, but, my friend, I will be looking for you on the other side❤️

I just loved him coming into our office, he was such a jokester and so funny. He was a lovely man, and will be missed.
