I have many fond memories of Ed and Peggy Coggeshall. I became acquainted with them when they moved to Whitehouse and joined First Baptist Church. They were members of the Open Door Sunday School Class. They were faithful to attend as well as serve as outreach leaders who visited those who were sick or just needed encouragement. Ed was very patriotic and encouraged others to share that loyalty to our country. I can still remember the flag displayed in his yard as well as other patriotic symbols at his house. He loved his family. He always looked forward to family gatherings at his house. I have shared many happy times with Ed and Peggy but also some sad times with them. When Peggy was diagnosed with cancer, it was so difficult for Ed. He loved her and would always talk about missing her every time I visited him. He is now with Peggy and other family members.I look forward to seeing these precious friends again.
