Skipper and Terry and family; So sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I have heard a lot of stories and remember seeing him at the café when I would visit Uncle Derwin And Aunt Carrie Mae when I was young. Take care. Malinda

Pray that God comforts you in the loss of fellowship with Mr. "Buddy". I remember being a boy seeing him in his smock working the grocery store, and later as a young man having many meals at the KKKup café with my wife Karen. Mr Buddy always had time to come over and ask how we were doing. He will be missed.

Buddy was definitely a "one of a kind"! He lived life to the fullest and I'm thankful I knew him. He always had a joke to share. We were blessed to have him on earth; I can only imagine the entertainment the angels are experiencing today! Blessings to you, Shirley, and to your family. He loved you all!

Shirley, Skip, Holly and family,
I just wanted to extend my sympathy in the loss of our wonderful friend, Buddy. I cant remember a time in my life that he wasnt encouraging and giving me a reason to smile. Always so upbeat and positive, I always loved eating at the Korner Koffee Kup, but at the time being in high school, it was a luxury. Ever since then, I have spent my life thinking of Buddy and Shirley as family. Buddy will be missed so greatly! May the Lord give you peace, comfort and understanding during these difficult days ahead.
With love, Cindi Sartors

Shirley my thoughts are with your and your family. Buddy lived a good life and made many friends. I'm honored to be one of them. He left his MARK on Overton with his many businesses and other endeavors. We are so Proud of him and you Shirley. I will always remember "The Conner Coffee Cup" and the welcome I received there when I first came to Overton. Thank you and Buddy. I'm so sorry that in the last few years, Buddy had to put up with poor health.
I am out of town and will miss the funeral services. I'm in Michigan enjoying cooler weather.
Take care all.
Bill
