I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Maudie but she is now with all her loved ones in heaven. Aunt Maudie was such a special person and was always so loving and caring when I was small. Anytime my dad came and got me for a weekend he ( CO Layne ) would always take me to Ma Laynes and Aunt Maudie it was always so special.I will cherish the last time I was there and was able to see her. Aunt Maudie will forever stay in my thoughts and prayers.
Love to all family and our thoughts and prayers are with you all no matter how far I live.

I know there was great rejoicing in Heaven when Maudie entered there. We will miss her smile and her wonderful sense of humor. I know she led a full life and it is time for us to bid her farewell, for a time, until we meet again.
Maudie, you were a really fine sister-in-law to me.

A great loss and will always be remembered. This world could use a lot more Maudies. A wonderful lady full of love and joy. Always would put a smile on your face. I know she and my dad (Roscoe Crouse) are in heaven right now picking up where they left off in 1985 when he passed and my mom is hiding in the background wondering what jokes are being told. God bless the entire family during this most difficult time.
Love,
Ellen (Crouse) McKee

Aunt Maudie was always so sweet every time we visited in Arp. I remember her always doing some sort of needlework up at the station. She would bake a lemon ice box pie for my Dad every time he came up there. I think she helped make most all the quilts we own. I know she must be sewing in Heaven now.
