Obituary of Maedean Broussard

Services for Maedean Broussard, 86, Whitehouse, are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Friday, March 9 at the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with Reverend Mike Jeter officiating. Burial will be in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Mrs. Broussard died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in Arlington. She was born November 22, 1920 to the late Park Davis Morris and Minnie Brown Morris. She had lived most of her life in the Tyler area and had been employed by Trane. She was a loving and giving mother who shared her many talents with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Morris and two sisters, Lucille Sanders and Ruth Dyess. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Daniel Ballard, Arlington, and Linda Ben Aharon, Frisco; a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Lavonia Morris, Huntsville; a brother-in-law, Ralph Dyess, Tyler; four grandchildren and their spouses, Cindi and Lance Walker, Christina and Gary Angle, Micah and Amy Ben Aharon, and Jennifer Padgett; four great grandchildren, Hamilton Walker, Madison Walker, Hannah Padgett, and Elliana Ben Aharon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Micah Ben Aharon, Lance Walker, Gary Angle, Hamilton Walker, Ricky Morris, and Daniel Ballard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm.
