Obituary of Jerry Gonzales
Graveside services for Jerry Lynn Gonzales will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, at Duncan Cemetery, Good Springs community, near Henderson with Vaughn Henry officiating under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mr. Gonzales died Friday, December 10. 2010. He was born February 13, 1965 in Henderson to James and JoAnn LaBeff and married Betty Daughterty. He moved to Overton in 1987 from Kilgore and owned and operated Gonzo's Trucking Company and he was a logger. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James LaBeff.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Betty Gonzales, Overton, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeramiah and Katie LaBeff, Whitehouse, and Matthew and Amber LaBeff, Overton; his mother and father, James and JoAnn LaBeff; five brothers, John LaBeff, Jacob LaBeff, Jeff LaBeff, Joe LaBeff and Raymond Brown, all of Kilgore; three sisters, Melissa Brown, Jackie LaBeff and Judy LaBeff, all of Kilgore; three grandchildren, Jordan LaBeff, Jerri LaBeff, and Matthew LaBeff; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Ben Dodd, Berta Martin, Delma Kelly, Roy Akins, Bruce Pierce, and Severo Chico.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, December 14, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
