Obituary of Mary Gray Kersh
Our beloved Angel Mary left us on Saturday, November 13, 2010. She was born June 14, 1925, in the Henry's Chapel Community in Cherokee County to the late Luther and Mary Verda Gray Kersh.
A bright light in our constellation, Mary was a very special person, loving and pure of heart, full of joy with a wonderful sense of style and pizzaz. A native of Troup and Henry's Chapel, Mary touched the lives of everyone she met and she never met a strange. Mary entered the Cherokee County Sheltered Workshop Program in 1986 and participated fully. She loved the experience and considered everyone there as part of her extended family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Luther Joe Kersh.
She is survived by her cousins, C.A. Wilkinson, Jr., Willie Dave Wilkinson, Pamela Gray Ventouras, Kevin Gray, and Madeline Gray Merritt.
