Obituary of Lee Rainer
Services for Lee C. Rainer, 80, Whitehouse, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 3, the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup with the Reverend Kenneth Cauthen officiating. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, will be in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mr. Rainer died Sunday, October 31, at his residence. He was born September 20, 1930, in Morgan County, Ohio to the late Hiley A. and Lula Mae Williams Rainer. He had been a resident of Whitehouse for the past 38 years. Mr. Rainer retired from both the United States Air Force and the Whitehouse Independent School District.
He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Henry Marsh Bell Masonic Lodge #1371, Whitehouse.
He married Sylvia Neal, July 20, 1954, in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sylvia Rainer, Whitehouse; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dean and Carol Rainer, Tyler and Phillip Rainer, Gresham; a daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Danny Bone?, New Chapel Hill; a brother, Alvin Rainer, Stockport, Ohio; a sister, Cleo Gold, Athens, Ohio; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Reid, Danny Boney, Paul King, Gary Fields, Pat Powell, Mike Ogg, Sr., Mike Pledger, and Matt Bryan,
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 2, 1010.
