Obituary of Miriam Boothe

Private services were held Saturday, May 29, for Miriam Dougherty Boothe, Tyler, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, New London under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mrs. Boothe died Saturday, May 29 in Tyler. She was born October 16, 1921 in Blum to H.E. and Emely Schmittou Dougherty and she was a 1937 survivor of the London School Explosion. She married Theron R. Boothe in 1951 and traveled the world with her husband and returned to Overton, the place they met in 1931 to retire. Survivors include her husband, Theron R. Boothe, Tyler; a niece, a nephew and a great nephew. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
