Obituary of Jimmie Lee Hemby

Graveside Services for Jimmie Lee Hemby, 90, Troup, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 20, at the Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup with the Reverend Buddy Lairson, Jr. officiating, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Mrs. Hemby died Sunday, September 17, in a Palestine nursing home. She was born July 23, 1916, in Cherokee County to the late Andy and Bonnie Ledford Bedgood. She was a lifetime resident of the Troup area. Mrs. Hemby was a housewife and was a member of the West Duval Baptist Church, Troup. She married Morris Hemby in Mixon. He preceded her in death December 20, 1979. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Survivors include numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 19.
