Obituary of Charlie C. Lummus
Services for Charlie C. 'Chuck' Lummus, Jr., 55, Lone Star, formerly of Tyler, are scheduled for 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 19 at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton with Reverend Davie Smith officiating.
Mr. Lummus died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1954, in Henderson to Charlie C. 'Boots' Lummus, Sr. and Joyce Owens Lummus.
He was a self employed repo man and a truck driver. He loved collecting metal, cars and fishing. He also loved the outdoors and was easy going and helped everyone he could.
He married Alisha Kay Perez February 2, 1974 in Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie C. 'Boots' Lummus, Sr. and by a brother, Jerry Lummus, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Alisha Lummus, Lone Star; his mother and step-father, Joyce and Kenneth Duncan, Arp; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Rhonda Lummus, Arp; step-brother, Kirk Duncan, Atoka, Oklahoma; step sisters and step brothers-in-law, Darlene and Craig Chandler, Kemp and Nancy and Nolan Baker, Seven Points.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 19.
