Obituary of Sue Thomas Fretz

Services for Sue Fretz, 66, Henderson, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 13, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, near New London with the Reverend Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mrs. Fretz died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in a Henderson nursing home. She was born August 31, 1943, in Mineola to the late Arvil Ross Thomas and Sarah Lucille Owen Thomas. She was a resident of Houston for 22 years before moving back to East Texas 20 years ago. She was a housewife and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Charles Fretz and a brother, Arvil Dwain Thomas. Survivors include her daughter, Shawn Luker, Kilgore; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Jodie Thomas, Madisonville and Gary and Kathy Thomas, Overton; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Casey and Cassidy; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Reid Thomas, Kris Thomas, Randy Thomas, Kevin Cooper, James Young and Duane Street. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
