Obituary of Anita Strange

Graveside services for Anita Strange, 56, Overton, will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 2 in the Overton City Cemetery under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mrs. Strange died Monday, March 29, 2010 at her residence in Overton. She was born April 17, 1953 in Liberal, Kansas to the late Lee and Evelyn Wilgus Smith. She moved to the New London/Overton area 28 years ago from Dumas and married William M. 'Bill' Strange, II, December 1, 1980 in Longview. She was a homemaker and a great cook. She also loved hobbies and was an avid animal lover. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Troy Lee Strange. Survivors include her husband of 29 years, William M. 'Bill' Strange II, Overton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Cameron and Shana Strange, Henderson and Heath Strange and Sandra Cormier, Tennessee Colony; two sisters, Radena James, San Diego, California and Donna Jackson, Henderson Nevada; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Strange.
