Obituary of John Lausted

Memorial services for John B. Lausted, 78, Kilgore will be at 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 27 at the Kilgore Manor Nursing Home, Kilgore under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mr. Lausted died Friday, March 19, 2010 in a Kilgore nursing home. He was born June 29, 1931 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to the late Bernard James and Lucille Maves Lausted. He married Martha Jean Brever Lausted October 9, 1965 in Lyons, Wisconsin and went to worked for Libby's Foods, which later became Dean Food in Darien, Wisconsin and retired after thirty years. He moved to Liberty City in 2006 from Delavan, Wisconsin. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Richard Lausted. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Martha 'Jean' Lausted, Kilgore and a daughter, Helen Lausted-Folden, Whitehouse.  A memorial fund has been set up for Longview Interfaith Hospitality Network, P.
