Obituary of Ouida Jo Miller

Graveside services for Ouida Jo Miller, 88, Troup, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup with Reverend Doctor Paul Saylors officiating, under direction of Cottle Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Tyler. She was born August 19, 1921 in Gary to the late Henry Grady and Sarah Agnes Hull Thomas. She married James Boyd Miller April 10, 1940 and moved to Troup. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of almost 70 years, Boyd Miller of Troup; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sidney and Brenda Miller of Chandler and James Christopher and Teresa Miller of Dallas; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Jo and James Derrington of New Summerfield; six grandchildren, Karla Miller Cooper, Keith Miller, Stacey Brewer, Patrick Brewer, Johnny Brewer and Damien Miller; and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Keith Miller, Daniel Cooper, Patrick Brewer, Damien Miller, Ronnie Jack Smiley and James Gore.
