Obituary of Kathryn Pemberton

Services for Kathryn Pemberton, 87, Whitehouse, are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 9, at the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup with the Reverend Rick Snydor officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup. Mrs. Pemberton died Friday, March 5, in Whitehouse. She was born March 2, 1923, in Mendota, Illinois to the late Guy and Gracie Pearl Fultz Marcum. She was a housewife and a member of the Gateway Baptist Church, Whitehouse. She had been a resident of Whitehouse since 2005. Survivors include a son, Danny Curry, Tyler; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Michael Mazy, Whitehouse; three grandchildren, Mike Mazy and Shelia Deaton, Tyler, Steve and Jimmie Mazy, Frankston, and Autumn and Dean Blanton, Whitehouse; seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Mazy, Steve Mazy, Dean Blanton, Nick Blanton, and Mike Mazy. Memorials, if desired may be made to the Heart to Heart Hospice, 1402 Rice Road, Suite 100, Tyler, TX 75703. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, March 8.
