Obituary of Robert Hansen

Services for Robert John Hansen, 63, Troup, will be held at a later date in South Dakota. Mr. Hansen died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in a Whitehouse nursing home. He was born December 10, 1946 in Veblen, South Dakota to the late John Walter and Mary Jo Heggeset Hansen. Mr. Hansen moved to Texas from South Dakota 36 years ago. He dearly loved horses and was an Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Survivors include one daughter and a son-in-law, Bobbie Jo and Clayton Vickers, Troup; four grandchildren, Chance Cox, Savanna Cox, Caitlyn Vickers, and Buddy Vickers, all of Troup; one brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Pat Hansen, Big Stone, South Dakota; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Judy Good, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Nancy and Rick Herman, Veblen, South Dakota.
