Obituary of Reginald Berry
Services for Reginald James Berry, 44, Troup, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20 in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton with Reverend Michael Jackson officiating.
Mr. Berry died Saturday, February 13, 2010 in a Tyler hospital. He was born May 2, 1965 in Midland to the late Robert Earl Berry and Patricia Ann Jackson Hawkins. He had been a resident of East Texas since October and he was an artist.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Carla Berry, in 2001.
Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gregory and Gisele Berry, Troup and Kevin Hawkins, Encino, California; a sister, Patrice Berry, Midland; his step-father, Henry Hawkins, Idabell, Oklahoma; nephews, Gregory Berry, Jr. and Tavion Hawkins; nieces, Tiasha Scott, Ty'Sha Warren, E'Yana Berry, Geoni Berry, and Ty'Jah Berry; a great-niece, Ta'Nijah Myers; a great nephew, Devarion Hunt; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ty'Sha Warren, Gregory Berry, Jr., Tavion Hawkins, E'yana Berry, Bill Bough, and Charlie Price.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Saturday, prior to the funeral service.
