Obituary of Edith Haught

Services for Edith 'Edie' Haught, 61, Arp, are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Monday, February 8 at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton with the Reverend Willie Shipp officiating. Interment will be in the Mason Cemetery, Arp. Mrs. Haught died Friday, February 5, at her residence in Arp. She was born July 25, 1948, in Tyler to the late Edmond Douglas and Doris Proctor Brown. She attended Chapel Hill High School and had been a resident of Arp since 1991. She was a housewife and a wonderful cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sharon Lemon. Survivors include her husband, Jackie Haught, Arp; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Sissy Lackey, Palestine, Kelly and Traci Lackey, Lake Palestine and Brant and Leea Lackey, Kilgore; two daughters, Jana Haught, Tyler and Carrie Haught, Overton; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Eddie Mack and Angelina Brown, Lindale and Larry Brown, Tyler; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Harold Anderson, Waco and Cheryl and Bill Jolley, Whitehouse; nine grandchildren, Joshua Lackey, Devin Lackey, Kayla Lackey, Kyle Laza, Nathan Laza, Haume Lackey, Shawn Michael Haught, Gavin Main, and Jaycee Main; two great-grandchildren, Konner Laza and Bradley Griffin; and a special friend, Wes Gray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joshua Lackey, Devin Lackey, Kyle Laza, Nathan Laza, Wes Gray, and Brian Pittman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Noon until 1:00 pm, Monday, February 8.
