Obituary of Sarah Conarroe

Graveside services for Sarah Evaline Conarroe, 71, Troup are scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, December 24, at the Rucker Cemetery, Troup with Reverend Gerald Shaver officiating, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. After a long struggle with her many health problems, Mrs. Conarroe went home Monday, December 21, 2009, in a Tyler hospice facility. She was born May 26, 1938, in Troup, to the late Oscar and Donnie Belle Williamson Bain, the third of eleven children. Mrs. Conarroe was a 1956 graduate of Troup High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Gerald Conarroe, May 20, 1957 and accompanied him through 52 years. She had one son, Joedy, in 1962, he died in 2001, at the age of 39. Her smile was sunshine and laughter. She was a friend, a wife, a mother, and she will be missed most sorely by all who were privileged to know her. We shall see her again for she is Christian soul. Surviv ors include her husband of 52 years, Gerald Conarroe, Troup; brothers, Albert Bain, San Angelo, Samuel Bain, Overton, Paul Rollins and Mack Bain, both of Troup; sister, Joyce Autrey, Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 23.
