Obituary of Karen Faye Lowe

Services for Karen Faye Rogers Lowe, 50, Troup, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 8, at the First Baptist Church, Troup, with the Reverends Cody Bishop and Chester Amidon officiating. Joint services will be held with her sister, Felicia Hobbs. Burial will be in the Bascom Cemetery, near Whitehouse, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Mrs. Lowe died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at her residence. She was born February 13, 1959 in Atlanta to Carrol Edward and Muriel Bailey Rogers.  She had been a resident of Troup since 1977. She was a graduate of Troup High School and had worked for 18 years at Azleway, Incorporated, Tyler. Karen was a beloved mother and daughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Carrol Rogers, in 1985 and by her sister, Felicia Hobbs, December 1, 2009. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason and Kim Lowe, Jacksonville, and Michael Lowe, Tyler; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Zach Smith, Bullard; her mother, Muriel Rogers, Troup; sisters and brothers-in-law, Toni and Steve Rambo, Troup, Deborah and Terry Reasoner, Lubbock, Daphne and Terry Patrick, Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Vicki and Daniel Roe, Freeport; two grandchildren, Calob Smith and Cailey Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Steve Rambo, Terry Reasoner, Daniel Roe, Terry Patrick, Steven Booker, and Chris Lowe. The Family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church, Troup from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, December 7.
