Obituary of Lucretia Renfro

Graveside services for Lucretia Ann Renfro, 74, Tyler, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, in Williams Cemetery near Tyler with Reverend Shirley Renfro officiating under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mrs. Renfro died Monday, November 23, 2009, in a hospice facility in Tyler. She was born March 7, 1935 in Tyler to the late Cecil Cavie Renfro and Blanche Carpenter Renfro. She had worked as an oil company data recorder in Houston and later in life as a home care giver for the elderly. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Renfro. Survivors include two brothers, Cecil Sheldon Renfro of Florissant, Colorado and John Wayne Renfro of Tyler. Cousins, Truman Mitchell, Donnie Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, Jimmy Griffin, Newt Cross, and Jerry Cross will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Friday, November 27.
