Obituary of Richard Bain

Services for Richard Bain, 25, Troup, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 25 at the Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, with Reverend Ray Davis officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup. Mr. Bain died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1984 in Tyler. He was a lifetime resident of the East Texas area and a member of First Baptist Church, Whitehouse. He had been employed as a welder and sandblaster in Jacksonville and Flint. Survivors include his mother, Vonniceil Bain, Troup; his grandmother, Thelma Bain, Whitehouse; two brothers, Jimmy Bain, Whitehouse, and Roger Bain, Woodville; two sisters, Betty Hicks, Arp, and Carolyn Bain, Whitehouse; a niece and nephew, Amber and Austin Bain; and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be David Sampson, Paul Gene Sampson, David Hicks,III, Jessie Dykes, Barry Boone, Michael Covey, and Wesley Bain. The family will receive friends at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24.
