Obituary of II Hall

Services for Norman Brantley Hall, II, 76, Troup, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Monday, May 22, in the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with Reverend Randy Potter officiating. Interment services will be at 3:00 pm Monday, in the Ryans Chapel Cemetery, near Diboll. Mr. Hall died Friday, May 19, 2006 in a Tyler hospice. He was born August 19, 1929 in Houston to the late Norman Brantley, Sr. and Ramey Lee James Hall. Mr. Hall married Jean Morris, January 19, 1957 in Houston. He had lived in the East Texas area for 40 years and had worked in various positions in retail food sales. He was a member of the Nazarene church. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tiffany and Daniel Hastings, and a son-in-law, Douglas Hastings. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jean Hall, Troup; two sons and daughters-in-law, Norman Brantley Hall, III, and Robyn Hall, Claremore, Oklahoma, and John E. and Marie Hall, Monroe, Louisiana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stacey and Jeff Hastings, Houston, and Joni and Chad Lormand, Whitehouse; one brother, Raymond Hall, Kerrville; grandchildren, Amanda Berry and her husband, William, Jonathan Hall-Hastings and his wife, Crystal, Norman Brantley Hall, IV, Thomas Brook Hall, Ashley Hall, Blair Hall, Hannah Hastings, Savannah Hastings, Kristen Lormand, and Jake Lormand; and one great grandson, Douglas Glenn Hall-Hastings. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and spouses. Honorary pallbearer will be the great-grandson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday, May 21, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
