Obituary of Charles Staples
Services for Charles L. 'Chuck' Staples, 50, Joinerville, will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 18, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Fergerson officiating. Burial will be in Mt Hope Cemetery near Joinerville.
Mr. Staples died Friday, April 15, 2011 in a Tyler hospital. He was born July 24, 1960 in Nashville, Tennessee to John and Carol Baltes Staples. He lived most all his life in the Joinerville area and was a Jack of All Trades, including working as an independent welder and mechanic.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Annette Beasley.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Staples, Joinerville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Lance and Jennifer Staples, Henderson, Charles Timothy and Christi Staples, and John Thomas Staples all of Eastland; four step children, Jennifer Martin, Troup, Sha-Lieila Jordan, Henderson, Stormie Martin, Henderson and Dustin Cochran, Overton; his parents, John and Carol Staples, Joinerville; three brothers, David Staples, Fairplay, Johnny Staples, Henderson, and Jimmy Staples, Joinerville; three sisters, Joanie Strong and Ellen Jordan, both of Henderson, and Evette Walton, Joinerville; sixteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roy Jordan, Johnny Walton, Tim Staples, Lance Staples, John Staples, and Terrance Tresner.
