Obituary of Doris Louise Brannon

Graveside services for Doris Louise Rose Brannon, 78, will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, at Sandy Creek Cemetery, Rockdale with the Reverend Doug Springer offidiating, under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Mrs. Brannon passed away Monday, August 17, 2009, in a Tyler hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born April 6, 1931 in Jack County. She lived in Troup for 46 years until her death. She graduated from Malakoff High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troup where she had served as church secretary. She is survived by her husband, Roy (Shorty) Brannon; Troup; daughters, Janone Wood of Wills Point, Debra Brannon of Troup, son-in-law and daughter, Robert and Tamara Haynes of Tyler; five grandchildren, Christopher Aaron Wood, Emily Rumsey and spouse Jason, Joshua Wood, Jenifer Haynes, and Colton Haynes. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. Until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, at the funeral home Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1301 S Broadway Avenue Tyler, TX 75701
