Obituary of Mary Kerr
Memorial services for Mary Agnes Musslewhite Kerr, 61, Troup, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 13, at the First Baptist Church, Mixon, with Reverend Joe Ballard officiating.
Mary died Saturday, April 9, 2011, in a Tyler hospice facility. She was born August 15, 1949, in Overton, Texas to the late Horace S. and Agnes Shuttlesworth Musslewhite. She was homemaker and compassionate Christian. She had attended and worked in the Methodist church for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mixon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Kerr, daughter, Mary Ann Kerr, brother, H. S. 'Sammy' Musslewhite, Jr., and sister, Martha Woodliff.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Herbert Cain, Troup; brothers and a sister-in-law, Joe and Peggy Musslewhite and Wilmer Musslewhite, all of Troup; five grandchildren; and a nephew and two nieces.
