I am a first grade teacher in Adelanto California. I shared the story of Justin's death with our students and we again discussed a few tactics that may help small children to avoid such calamity. We viewed Justin's picture, and to the first graders in my room, he looks just like so many kids we know. Nothing will ever completely fill the void created by Justin's loss, but you may find some comfort to know other children are going to be more vigilant of out of control dogs largely because of Justin's story. PS .. My students did some art work to perhaps help lift your spirit a bit in the aftermath of all this pain. I will mail that out with a donation tomorrow. Your agony may be alleviated by friends and family and by our knowledge that Justin's end could have happened to any of us. What a shame that nobody knew those animals were crazy before the attack. You did nothing wrong by trusting Justin to visit a friend or by trusting otherwise peaceful dogs ... so I am hopeful you heal more quickly in knowing you did your best for your boy.

You do not know me; however, I want to express my condolences for you and your family. Something has to be done about these dogs. This could've happened to anyone and it shouldn't be happening at all. I am so sorry.

Your precious Justin is now an All Star of the most glorious team possible. To be chosen by God at such a young age means that Justin's impact on the community is going to bring many others to know the Lord. I pray for your loss and the comfort that you will need for a long time to come but if you too lean on our Heavenly Father, He will see you through each step. God Bless you all, In His Name, Stephanie Osteen, KBBA

Heaven is having an All Star game and Justin is on the team. Nobody will ever understand yor pain unless they have walked in your shoes but I pray that in time you will be able to heal. God alwys has reason for His need for our small children and I know He needed Justin. Please lean solely on God and allow Him to keep yur hearts soft. I ask the Holy Spirit to rest in your hearts until you are able to stand on your own again. In God's love, Stephanie Osteen and family, KBBA
