Obituary of Ralph Paul Pressley

Funeral services for Ralph Paul Pressley, Jr., 46, Troup, are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Friday, March 31, at the First Baptist Church, Wright City, with the Reverends Richard Boone and Rhon Boone officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Arp, under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mr. Pressley died Monday, March 27, 2006, near Troup . He was born October 27, 1959, in Houston to the late Ralph Paul Pressley, Sr. and Joyce Calley Pressley . He moved to East Texas in 1970 and worked as a mechanic. He loved the outdoors and his family and he was a member of the First Baptist Church, Wright City. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Paul Pressley, Sr., in 1974 and by his grandfather, Earl Calley, in 1992. Survivors include a son, Ralph Paul Pressley, III, Troup; a daughter, Andria Pressley, Tyler; his parents, Joyce and David Wickham, Troup; three sisters and their spouses, Cynthia and Mike Breckel, Whitehouse; Terri Pressley-Mathis and James Mathis, Austin and Amanda Wickham-Pressley, Virginia; grandparents, Ralph and Cary Pressley, Troup, and Winona Calley, Troup; a granddaughter, Alexis Shelton, Tyler; a niece, Misty Spencer, Tyler; and three nephews, Holden Wenger, Virginia; Michael Musick and Rickey Sumner, both of Austin. Pallbearers will be David Wilson, Wesley Clark, Benny Clark, Ricky Sumner, Michael Musick, and Lee Sheffield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 30.
