Funeral services for Maudine Allred, 86, of Tyler are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton with the Reverend Gaylon Taylor officiating. Private burial will be in the Williams Cemetery near Tyler. Mrs. Allred died Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Troup. She was born December 29, 1919 in Tyler to the late Horace R. and Ola Mae Bateman Everett. She married Raymond Maurice Allred April 15, 1935 in Smith County. She was a member and attended Lakeview Community Church. She was a homemaker and owned and operated Allred Produce with her husband for many years. Survivors include her husband, R.M. 'Pete' Allred of Tyler, to whom she was married for 70 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Louie and Jo Allred of Tyler, and Ronnie and Maria Allred of Edinburg; a sister, Gay Polson of Springfield, Missouri; and a grandson, Keith McElroy of Tyler. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 17 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Tyler, or the Charity of choice.
