Obituary of Billy Lane

Services for Billy Gene Lane, Jr., 41, Overton, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 10, at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton, with the Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in the Asbury Cemetery, near Overton. Mr. Lane died Saturday, January 7, 2006, under the special care of UT Health Center, Tyler. He was born September 22, 1964, in Tempe, Arizona. He was a member of the West Rusk High School class of 1982 and had been a resident of Overton for the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Lane, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Marie Lane, Overton ; mother and father, JoAnn and Billy Ramey, Winona; a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Ronnie Burks, Wright City; two brothers and sisters-in-law , Stephen and Tamara Ihlenfeldt, Tyler and Danny and Beverly Ihlenfeldt, Overton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Dickie Still, Arp; and several in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
