Obituary of Clara Cook

Graveside services for Clara Dee Cook, 73, Kilgore, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in the Overton City Cemetery with Reverend Atwell Hankins officiating under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mrs. Cook died Sunday, February 5, 2006 in Longview. She was born January 1, 1933 in Mabank to the late Thomas and Mirtie Painter and lived in the Kilgore, Longview and Overton area. She married Norman Cook June 25, 1952 in Overton and worked as a waitress for the Waffle Shoppe in Longview. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. She is survived by, her husband, Norman Cook, Kilgore; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Tommy and Donna Lea Cook of Overton, Cody Cook of Eustace, Clint and Brenda Cook, Longview, and Casey and Shelley Cook, Longview; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Dot Painter, Tyler; a sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Aaron Wilson, Mobile, Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews, including Mozelle Reagh and Tuttie Hilliard of Kilgore..
