Obituary of Clorene Moore
Services for Clorene Ruckman Moore, 90, formerly of Overton, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at the
Overton Church of Christ with her son, Robert Lesley Moore officiating. Burial will be in Overton City Cemetery under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mrs. Moore died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her residence in Weatherford. She was born February 8, 1921 in Crowell, Texas to the late Malvern Cecil and Cassie Mae Wheeler Ruckman. Her children remember her as a lovely seamstress and a wonderful old-fashioned cook. She was a professional artist and great gardener. She was a member of the Overton Church of Christ and the Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by her husband Foy Lesley Moore, two brothers, Loye Ruckman and Roy Ruckman, two grandchildren, Todd Edward Mullican and Ty Markhart Moore, and a great grandchild, Reese Alexander Moore.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lesley and Annette Moore, Weatherford, and Timothy Dean and Lidia Moore, Bullard; three daughters and a son-in-law, June Moore Lee, Weatherford, Jean and Lee Mullican, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Joy Moore Missildine, Tyler; grandchildren and their spouses, Steven and Rebecca Moore, Susan Moore Webb, Timothy Lee and Sheri Mullican, Julie and Ron Repplinger, Mindy and Bob Barrows, Monty and Terri McCutchen, Misty McCutchen, Megan and Xavier Mitchell, Shaye Missildine and Michael Mercer, Chad and Macy Missildine, Leslie Jean Moore and Derek Hestwood, and Todd Kristopher Moore; great grandchildren, Kaylyn, Lauren, Haley, Zachary, and Garrett Moore, Brittany Dent, Mackenzie and Keaton Webb, Aaron, Kenneth, and Taylor Whitacre, Colton and Chris Barrows, Counti and Satchel McCutchen, MyLisa and Mataya Mitchell, Kylea, Brannen, and Chaney Mullican, Gage, Dallas, and Logan Williams, Jared, Morgan and Hannah Repplinger, Knox and Maclane Mercer, Meg and Molly Missildine, Maci and Maggie Hestwood; and a great great granddaughter, Gracie Whitacre.
Pallbearers will be Steven Moore, Monty McCutchen, Timothy Mullican, Chad Missildine, Todd Moore, Michael Mercer, Derek Hestwood, Xavier Mitchell, Ron Repplinger, and Bob Barrows.
