Mrs. Ritchie has been gone six years now..almost to the day. She made her mark on so very many of us as we went thru Troup High School.....I remember so very many things that she taught us...she taught our class as we graduated from seventh grade and structured the entire graduation ceremony in poetry....and then another time..highschool I think........I can still say some of the poems that she encouraged...no, made us learn.....she was an outstanding teacher for our class and I am sure that those that graduated in my l948 class remembers her as well as I do....We had a great education at Troup High School...and Mrs. Ritchie was one of the reasons that we did. The Ritchie's were a big part of our memories....Judy was our delight as we all lived in Abilene when she was in ACC.

We were so deeply saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. She was truly a Saint if I ever knew one. I have so very many fond memories of our families when we lived in Troup. Judy of course was one of my very dearest friends, and I still miss her till this day. I love when we were all together at you house for fun and games after church. Ice cream in the back yard, and all those fun things we did as young people way back then. Yes, those truly were "THE GOOD OLE' DAYS" May God be with you in these days of grief ahead. We will always love you Nancye (Shaw) Barber and Wynona (Jesse) Shaw Refugio, TX.

My deepest condolences to all the family. Mrs. Ritchie was a very positive influence in all our lives, as friends of her daughters. I remember many occasions when we would all stay at the Ritchie house when we were teenagers and Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie would keep us entertained by song and good fellowship. Judy was one of my best friends and I have missed her so much but feel good that she has her Mother with her again. Mrs. Ritchie will be missed by all her friends and family. May God Bless All the Family. Blessings, Kathy
