Obituary of Bobby Noble

A celebration of life will be held for Bobby Gene Noble, 83, Ben Wheeler, at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 8, in the First United Methodist Church, Whitehouse with Reverend Jeff McDonald officiating. Military graveside services will follow in Whitehouse Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Mr. Noble died Friday, January 3, in Tyler. He was born October 8, 1930, in Edgewood, to the late Albert M. and Mable Z. Pilgrim Noble. He is a veteran of the US Army Air Force. He moved to Ben Wheeler from Longview in 1994 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Chandler. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Ray Eller, five brothers, Clayton Noble, Glendon Noble, Clyde Noble, Royce Noble and James Noble, and a sister, Rachel Wright. Survivors include, his wife, Rita Noble, Ben Wheeler; a son Roy Eller, Ben Wheeler; a sister, Joy Fielding, Whitehouse; two grandchildren, Royce Thomas Eller and Rebeka Eller Le Beau; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tom Martin, Robert Kettner, Dennis Noble, Reggie Manuel, Richard Lee 'Smiley' Haynes, Alan Fielding, Richard 'Dick' McKelvey, and Tom Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Boultinghouse, Howard 'Bo' Morris, Charles Price, Mark Noble, and Bob Alexander. Visitation will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 8, at the Whitehouse United Methodist Church, prior to the service.        In leu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance of North East Texas, 3613 S Broadway Ave., Tyler, TX 75703.
