Obituary of Evelyn Leach
No services are scheduled for Evelyn Rodgers Jones - Leach, 94, Overton. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mrs. Leach went to be with the Lord Friday, November 8, 2013. She was born July 19, 1919 in West Texas to the late Ottis and Della Jane Griffith Rodgers. She lived in Kilgore and worked for Narduo Sewing Factory. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Alma Annette Nichols of Corpus Christi, Connie and James Jackson, Kilgore, Kathryn and Kenneth Walden, Kilgore, and Lynda and Rudy Mendez, Houston: two sons and daughters-in-law, John W. and Pauline Jones, KiIgore, and Curtis M. and Sue, Longview; three brothers, Joe Rodgers, Cameron, Ray Rodgers and Bobby Rodgers, Seagoville; her seventeen precious grandchildren, Patricia Smith, Nathan Holdren, Maverick Nichols, Stacy Nichols, Kim Nichols, Kenneth Nichols, Elizabeth Pierson, Gena Rodriquez, Cindy Turner, Andrew James, Charlotte Lovegrove, Lynn Karr, Ben Mendez, Steve Walden, Rodney Walden, Yolanda Trimble, and Luciano Mendez; thirty seven great grandchildren, twenty one great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
