Obituary of Rosemary Farley

Services for Rosemany Merrill Farley, 90, Arp, will be at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Cottle Funeral Home Chapel, Troup, with Reverend Richard Boone officiating. Graveside services will be Friday, November 15, at 4:00 pm, at Phillips Cemetery in Dripping Springs. Mrs. Farley died Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Henderson. She was born August 18, 1923 in Brownsville to the late John and Enodosia Perez Merrill. She worked as a receptionist and clerk for Dr. E. Rodriquez in Harlingen and was a member of the Parkdale Baptist Church, Harlingen, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She moved to Arp from Harlingen 7 years ago. She was a great mom and Nana and her family came first in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, December 4, 2004, Richard M. Farley. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Marjorie Moon, Arp, and Pam and Carlos Leal, Austin; five grandchildren, Link and Shanon Moon, Noel and Tracy Moon, Ashley and Corey Kintzer, Meghan Leal, and Logan Leal; eight great grandchildren, Weston Moon, Dustin Moon, Taylor Moon, Jeremy Moon, Cole Moon, Haley Moon, Hannah Moon, and Sam Kintzer; numerous nieces and nephews, and by two special friends, Letty Reyna and Anna Garza. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation Of America, 211 Winchester, Tyler, Texas 75701.
