Obituary of Jeffery Smith
Smith, Jeffery Yale Jeffery Yale Smith of Richardson Texas passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2013 after a ten year battle with Alzheimers Disease in The Alexandria House in Frisco Texas.
He was born May 8, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to Fredrick and Eleanor Smith. He married Suzanne Allen on January 23, 1971. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Suzanne Smith. Also surviving are his two daughters Ashley (Jeff) Marshall and Carrie (Seth) Erdman; and 6 grandchildren Abbygail Marshall, Gavin Marshall, Skyler Marshall, Yale Erdman, Noah Erdman, and Hope Erdman. Jeff is also survived by his only brother Gary (Carol) Smith and two nephews. Jeff was a long time resident of Richardson Texas.
He graduated from SMU in 1968 with a BS, and in 1969 from the Cox School of Business where he received his BBA. Jeff went into Commercial Real Estate in 1971 where he remained until he retired. He had a true passion for his career and was the first recipient of the Stemmons Service Award in 1976.
Graveside service will be held in his honor Monday, November 4, 2013, 11:00 am, at Overton City Cemetery.
Jeff's true love was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
