Obituary of Jessie Love
Services for Jessie Faye Helms Love, 84, Overton, will be at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 1, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Bryan Williams officiating.
Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 2, in the Cleveland Memorial Gardens cemetery, Cleveland.
Mrs. Love died Saturday, September 29, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 28, 1928 in Panola to the late Jessie and Ruth LaGrone Mayfield. She moved to Overton twelve years ago from Danbury and was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star. She had served as a Sunday School teacher for many years at the Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland and she was a member of the Arp Assembly of of God.
Besides her parents, Mrs Love was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Helms, two brothers, Leon Mayfield and Murray Mayfield, a grandson, Charles Helms, Jr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Laurie Helms, Milam; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and James Heuitt, Overton, and Becca Love and George Leppla, Cleveland; nine grandchildren, Michelle Cantu, William Dover, Brandi Ballard, Charles Dover, John Dover, Kami Brown, Ronald Bridgewater, Sam Love III, Robert Love, Brittany Boutte and Kendra Parrack; twenty-three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, October 1, from 5:00: pm to 7:00 p.m, prior to the service.
