Obituary of JoAnn Boothe
Graveside services for JoAnn Boothe, 72, Overton will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3 in the Overton City Cemetery with Reverend Bill Baker officiating under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boothe died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 in a Tyler hospital. She was born May 30, 1935 in Overton to the late Hoy Drebon and Florence Ada Digby Cone. She was a lifelong resident of Overton and worked as a Tax Clerk for the Chapel Hill ISD Tax Office and retired after 10 years in 1986. She was a member of the Overton First Baptist Church. Mrs Boothe was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly by all.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Hoye Beidleman, Trudy Cone and Truby Riley, and a grandson, Jason Wilson.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bart and Toni Boothe of Flower Mound, and Jody Boothe of Tyler; a daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Frank Springer of Overton; four grandchildren, Clint Wilson, Craig Stewart, Hannah Boothe, and Katie Boothe; two nieces, Laura Palmer and Jennifer Puckett ; and one nephew, Blake Beidleman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Stovall, Rick Hale, and Bruce Weidner. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the funeral home.
