Obituary of Harry Hill

Graveside services for Harry Hill, Sr., 81, Lake Jackson, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2013, with the Pastor Andy Fauss officiating. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Cemetery, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Mr. Hill died Sunday, July 21, 2013, in Lake Jackson, TX. He was born February 14, 1932, to the late Charles E. Hill and Florence Whitman. Mr. Hill was a avid carpenter and gardener. He was preceded in death by parents, son, Harry E. Hill, Jr., daughter, Janet Odell, and grandson, Benji Hill. Survivors include children, James Hill, Tigard, Or; Mary Hill, Tyler; Ben Hill and wife Kiss, Mixon; and Jody Hill and wife Lana, Tyler; 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 25.
