Obituary of Benjamin Beene

Services for Benjamin 'Ben' Beene 46, Frankston, will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton, with Reverend Deward Mullin and Chaplain Mark Skorheim officiating. Burial will be in Rusk County Memorial Gardens, Henderson. Ben died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in a Tyler hospice facility. He was born September 14, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Thomas G, Beene, Sr. and Ethel Haller Beene. He graduated Troup High School and worked for J. W. Wireline Company for 20 years.  He enjoyed riding his Harlley and he was a Baptist. He is survived by his girlfriend, Melissa Perez of Tyler; his mother, Ethel Beene of Arp; a sister, Julia Dailey of New London; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas G. Beene, Jr. and Carol Beene of California, Jonathan C. and Kim Beene of Troup, Jefferson R. and Vivian Beene of Kilgore, Daniel A. and Kathie Beene of Troup,  and Robert E. and Kristie Beene of McKinney; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be the employees of J. W. Wireline Company. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Friday, June 8.
