Obituary of John Milutin
Services for John Milutin, 90, Overton, are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 24, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton with Reverend Ken Hayman officiating. Military honors will be conducted following the service in the Overton City Cemetery.
Mr. Milutin died Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Kilgore. He was born September 2, 1922 in Yale, Michigan to the late George and Anna Paulsan Milutin. He is a veteran of WW II, having served in the US Army where he received the Purple Heart. He married Marion Maxine Rasch, September 25, 1943, in Wyandotte, Michigan and was a worked in road construction as a supervisor. He has been a resident of Texas for the past 23 years.
Besides his parents, Mr. Milutin was also preceded in death by his wife, Marion Maxine Milutin.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, David John Milutin, Phoenix, AZ and Phillip Terry and Patti Milutin, Belleville, Michigan; two daughters, Constance Roberto, Las Vegas, NV and Linda Burgess, St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bill Leuandowski, Robert Furguson, Otis Bryan, Jack Hoover, and Dale Grandstaff.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 24, prior to the service.
