Obituary of Freddie Musslewhite
Graveside services for Freddie H. Musslewhite, 72, Tyler, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, at Henry's Chapel Cemetery near Troup with Reverend Philip C. Parks officiating under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Mr. Musslewhite died Monday, March 10, 2008 in a Tyler nursing home. He was born December 20, 1935 in Troup to the late Hugh and Thelma Collins Musslewhite. He was a veteran of the US Army and had worked as a printer for Story-Wright Printing Company in Tyler.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Maris Reagan.
Survivors include a brother, Wayne Musslewhite, Longview; a sister, Fredonia 'Candy' Dickey, of Blackjack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Dickey,Kenneth Maris, Brent Maris, Jerry Dickey, Cliff Musslewhite, and Clint Musslewhite.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Henry's Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Susan Martin, 4397 FM 13 East, Troup, TX 75789.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, at the funeral home.
