Obituary of Betty Still

Services for Betty Lynn Still, 71, Laneville, will be at 2:00 pm. Monday, March 18, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home with Reverends Buddy Reneaux and  Jim Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Overton City Cemetery. Mrs. Still died Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Henderson. She was born August 11, 1941 in Rusk County to the late Ruben and Denver N. Thornton Dorsey. She was a homemaker and a great mother. She loved going to church was a member of the County Line Christian Fellowship Church and she was a blessing to everyone. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Pat Bill Still on March 5, 1992, three brothers, Buck Dorsey, Jerry Dorsey and Glenn Dorsey, four sisters, Mary Opal Goodjohn, Viola Moore, Libby Blalock, and Ruby Alice Stewart.  Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Pat William and Stephanie Still, Henderson; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Patty and William Floyd, Overton Nina Ruth and Terry Lynn Smith, Henderson, Lori Beth Still, Laneville, Joanna and Robert Clark, Laneville, and Linda and James Rentz; a brother, J. B. Dorsey; fifteen grandchildren, Heather, Alicia, Alana, Alexia, Alazarus, Alawyer, Gavin, Rylan, Skye, Jordan, Trevor, Joseph, Sophia, Hunter, and Brooklyn; a great granddaughter, Maddie Grace; and numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Pallbearers will be Robert Clark, Bill Floyd, Ricky Rentz, Gavin Still, Rylan Still and Terry Smith. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton.
